Types of SMTP
The WebpowerX SMTP solution is an extension of the WebpowerX SaaS application and complements the SOAP API used for sending individual emails. This allows clients to send individual emails via WebpowerX Mail using the SMTP API. The SMTP API is similar to a simple SMTP relay tool, but with additional WebpowerX features. Emails are sent using the sender address specified in WebpowerX Mail.
SMTP relying on the dmdelivery platform
Before configuring SMTP, you need to apply for access to the DMdelivery platform. Once configured, all emails sent via SMTP can be tracked on the platform, including soft bounces, hard bounces, click rates, open rates, etc.

No need to activate dmdelivery, emails are not sent through the platform, and no data is stored on dmdelivery. Suitable for customers with strict data security requirements and whose own system functions are relatively comprehensive.

SMTP Relay Setup Steps
WebpowerX SMTP can be used with a new license or together with an existing license for WebpowerX SMTP sending. If the customer is a new customer, we should first follow the usual license application procedure.

The WebpowerX administrator enables the WebpowerX SMTP extension for this license.
02.
WebpowerX administrators add credentials for sending SMTP for authenticated users, and account managers send the credentials to the clients.
03.
WebpowerX will create a default WebpowerX SMTP campaign containing emails dedicated exclusively to WebpowerX SMTP.
04.
Once the activity license has been successfully configured, the client can use WebpowerX SMTP.
